Rogers Fire Protection Co. inspects, tests and services the systems a building depends on when something goes wrong — sprinklers, alarms, extinguishers, pumps and backflow preventers. 47 years in, we are still locally owned and still small enough that the person who inspected your building is the person who answers when you call about it.
How we got here
Fred and Greg Rogers founded the company in Columbus in 1979, and it stayed in the family until 2023, when new ownership took it on. What did not change was how it works: a small, locally owned business where the people doing the inspections are the people you deal with.

How we work
You talk to the person doing the work
Not a call center, not a dispatcher reading a script. When you ring about a system, you are talking to somebody who has stood in front of it.
The paperwork is the job
An inspection nobody can produce a record of did not happen as far as an insurer or a fire marshal is concerned. Every report, deficiency and estimate is documented and available online, not filed in a van.
We say what we found, not what sells
A deficiency gets written up with the reading that makes it one and the code section behind it. If something passed, it passed — padding a report to sell a repair is how a customer stops believing the next one.
We fix it on the visit where we can
Carrying the common parts means a failure is often repaired the same day rather than becoming a second trip you pay for.

We dispatch from Marengo, OH, and our primary service area runs roughly 75 miles out across Central Ohio — Franklin, Delaware, Marion, Morrow, Knox and Licking among them. For multi-site and portfolio work we travel considerably further, throughout the state.
